Retired Olympic cyclist Lance Armstrong recently made headlines for getting roped in Fox’s new reality tv show, Stars on Mars. The former cyclist has taken on the challenge to fulfill physical tasks competing against 11 other celebrities. However, amidst his busy shooting schedule for the upcoming show, the cyclist shelled out time to express Mother’s Day gratitude for his wonderful wife and mother of his two children, Anna Hansen Armstrong.

A few hours ago, Lance Armstrong took to his Instagram page to share a heartfelt post for Anna Hansen hours before the special day. He expressed how beautifully she plays the role of a mother and a friend to his family.

In his latest Instagram post, Lance Armstrong shared a picture of him with his wife, children, friends, and adorable pet dog. It was a daylight image in the outdoor space in Aspen, Colorado. Moreover, expressing his love for his wife’s amazing role as a mother, he wrote along with the post, “Back from MARS just in time for Mother’s Day!! Babe, you’re the best mom ever and this guys best friend. I love you! #SOM”

The former cyclist wrote that his wife has been a great mom to his children, Max and Olivia. Besides being a caring mother, she has also developed a wonderful friendly relationship with his children’s best friends.

The couple met in 2008 and faced several ups and downs due to Lance’s Tour De France scandal. However, despite the adverse circumstances, Hansen stood strong with the cyclist. They got engaged in 2017, and in 2022, the couple said ‘I do’ to each other in a beautiful ceremony in France. Nevertheless, on many occasions, the former cyclist has expressed what an amazing support Anna Hansen has been in his life.

Lance Armstrong and Anna Hasen have been a rock-solid couple for the past 15 years. The cyclist has always highlighted his wife’s contribution in bringing solace in his life, despite his share of ups and downs. On August 9, when he officially tied the knot with Hansen, he shared a beautiful picture of them from the wedding on social media and expressed his love by saying, “Anna, you have been my absolute rock the past 14 years and let me be clear, I would not have survived them without you.”

Then again, on the recent Valentine’s Day occasion, he added a picture of him with Anna and wished her, “Happy Valentine’s Day to this beautiful lady! Not just my wife but my best friend in the world. Been one helluva ride babe!” Being a great support to Armstrong, Anna has proved her love for the 51-year-old. 

Besides being a wonderful wife and mother, the 41-year-old is a yoga instructor and founder of MOVE With Anna, which is a virtual program that she created during the 2020 pandemic. Indeed, a wonder woman!
