Jennifer Gates, an equestrian, is married to another fellow professional equestrian from Egypt, Nayel Nassar. But when Jennifer Gates made the announcement last year, not only was Bill Gates ecstatic, it gave him a new way to look at life. After introspecting a lot, he made this announcement in wake of his new role as a grandfather.

Back in 2022, Bill Gates made a big announcement that put a rose feather on his already famous philanthropic activities. However, this time the decision was much more personal. But it was done with the same generosity and kindness with which all his previous philanthropy was done.

He took a life-changing decision after the good news

In his annual year-end letter ‘GatesNotes’, Bill Gates wrote, “Simply typing that phrase, “I’ll become a grandfather next year,” makes me emotional”. Sharing his emotions, he continued, “When I think about the world my grandchild will be born into, I’m more inspired than ever to help everyone’s children and grandchildren have a chance to survive and thrive”.
