In the annals of time, there are countless examples of human-animal interactions that have tugged at people’s hearts. A recent video of a student riding a horse, under torrential rains, has done just that. Delly Tiggs was attending her last day of school at first avenue northwest. Since it was a defining moment, her parents not only let her take the reins, but also rode beside her too, to school.

The video by KRTV News started by showing Delly Tiggs and her parents slowly riding up on the designated avenue. Each of them was on their horses, and everyone was delighted by the prospect. The rains were pouring down heavily, but that didn’t stop the Tiggs family from doing what they promised themselves.

A new tradition started by this horseriding family

When a news reporter asked Delly Tiggs, “Do you like riding in the rain?”, she replied, “No”. Despite her disapproval in a nonchalant and innocent manner, Tiggs didn’t mind riding the horse to her school. The reporter asked again, “What’s the best thing about riding your horse?” Tiggs pondered for a while, before coming up with a casual, “I don’t know”. She just seemed happy to be in her parents’ company.

When the reporter went up to her father, he stated that they just wanted to do something different. He said, “Starting new tradition every day on the last day… get’s to ride a horse to school”. Although Delly denied enjoying riding in the rain, she was extremely excited when she found out that she would ride a horse to her school on her last day. She didn’t anticipate the rain at that time.

Tiggs’s father stated that Delly was so excited about it that she couldn’t sleep the previous night. In the end, he said, “Just another day”, with a laugh. Seems like Delly Tiggs and her horse are making new strides. Her parents know well not to leave her alone and are taking good care of her, while also starting a new tradition.
