It’s just a matter of 6 months to see how colorful the US Dressage team’s unfurled flags would be at the Olympics. The Olympic year holds more anxiety and mindfulness than any other regular year for the equestrian competitors. Hailing from a family of athletes, a dressage icon had once set her eyes on the Olympics, but turned out as a World Cup name instead. Now, as she operates as a trainer, several barn stories surrounding her darling equines surface often.

Anna Buffini, the 29-year-old, started off her career as a gymnast, until at age 9, she switched to dressage. Over the years, she has come in contact with several talented equines. But even today, the most cherished is her ‘corona miracle’, who isn’t here to disappoint.

With its luscious furry mane, genteel strides and Buffini’s masterful sinews, they really are destined for each other. According to a recent Instagram post that surfaced, Buffini is on a mission to summon fans to adore Diva even more. Captioning the post as “Another day, another Diva slay”, her video stood as a testament to the phenomenal skill-sets Diva owns. She’s always trying a few new things to get ready for the rest of the year” whenever she’s caught in action with her adorable animal. Aboard Diva, the 29-year-old secured her second World Cup qualification besides reserving herself a seat at the US senior team, among others.

When she looks back at her first CDI with her, it “was really kind of a dream”. After the quarantine purchase, she had put Diva up for sale and kept her available for other owners. But after spending days and events with Diva, she had finally said, “I could feel a little bit of it when I tried her, but feeling how much she tries for me in the show arena is literally just blowing me away”. Under the recent Insta post, a multitude of Buffini fans chimed in with praises for Diva.

Fans gush over Diva’s talent and beauty

One fan swooned over Buffini’s hot horse’ for good reason, with the comment Diva paired with a fire emoji, quite literally justifying the rider’s thoughts. Another fan crowned the mare with an invisible crown, saying, “She’s such a queen”.

“Amazing, such a beautiful horse” was what a fan had to say about the well-maintained equine residing in San Diego. Among other fans, there was an equine photographer and a Kentucky-based content creator, Taylor Bicandi. She wrote, “Everyday is a Diva slay”. Though Anna Buffini’s comradeship with Diva isn’t unknown to any, one fan also noticed the former smile while riding. Said, “It’s the smile for me!!!” Currently operating as the resident trainer for Dressage Today OnDemand, Buffini’s career graph isn’t short of iconic.
