Being cognizant of her 4-year-old mare, she said, “I was very very proud of her…She is an amazing mare, very very brave like she has never seen an arena like this, never been to a show like this, like traveled away and she has taken everything in her stride like she is incredibly grown up for her age.” While Charlotte Dujardin shares a wonderful bond with ‘Alive and Kicking’, she also introduced her lovely daughter, Isabella, to her fan audience.

Dujardin shared that Isabella shares a close bond with the mare right from the beginning. Being the kindest mare ever, Charlotte Dujardin said, “She’s brilliant with Isabella” and added that Audrey is often touched gently and patted by the young girl, Isabella. Charlotte Dujardin further remarked, “She is the world to me now, and this is what life is all about!”

The British Olympic champion concludes by acknowledging that having seen both lives with equal adoration, Dujardin’s first choice of preference is now being a good mother to her daughter. Interestingly, Alive and Kicking remains one of her most-loved and this is not the first time she has expressed her pride for the mare.

The horse rider and her love for the mare

Charlette Dujardin acquired Alive and Kicking as a 4-year-old in 2018. Since then, the bond only got stronger. Back in November last year, The mare attended its first Grand Prix at home. The owner could not have skipped to mark it. “…to do her first GP at just nine years old and gain a huge 79% makes me more proud than you can imagine,” Dujardin wrote in an Instagram post on that occasion. But her life is not all about horses.
