Harry Style enters the equestrian world!

As the world anticipated the release of “Daylight,” Harry Styles was faced with a thrilling yet daunting task – to portray the essence of a horse rider. Little did he know that it would be Zana Cousins-Greenwood, a seasoned equestrian trainer from Stampede Stunt Company, who would guide him through this new venture. According to BBC Three Counties Radio, they shared lunch together where she got to know it will be Styles’ first ride ever!

It wasn’t that easy. She gently encouraged him during his first stint on the saddle. Cousins-Greenwood embarked on a journey of transformation in a matter of 20 minutes before they started the recording. She mentioned, ‘We said to Harry, ‘Just look like you’re confident on a horse – fake it until you make it’.

Patiently, she taught Styles the art of looking effortlessly at ease on horseback, ensuring that his portrayal was both authentic and mesmerizing. Cousins-Greenwood mentioned, “I’m pleased that the horse went nice and high, he can be lazy at times,”. But wait! It’s a Harry Styles music video; it can’t be without a twist! The horse seen in the video wasn’t the first choice in the beginning.

A twist in the video led to a final change

The horse that stole the spotlight, Teake, wasn’t initially meant to star in the video. Another horse, Carnival, was the original choice. However, Teake’s captivating presence led the video’s director to make a last-minute change, just like it happens in the movies most of the time! Carnival gracefully took a background role instead, while Teake charmed the audience with his stunning performance.

With the charm of the majestic creature, there is another beautiful creature that made the video look, “Perfect“. It also features a delightful parrot named Poppleguy. Although unplanned, the parrot sat gracefully on Styles’ shoulder, an unexpected sign of the great connection between the two. The music video’s magical blend of equestrian grace and spontaneous moments left fans captivated, and Harry Styles’ talent shone brightly alongside his four-legged and feathered co-stars.
