Equestrian estates are an expensive affair, and also subsequently a lavish one. Wealthy people with deep pockets generally afford to buy such properties, and subsequently sell them for jaw-dropping prices ranging up to tens of millions. Working with world-class pop sensations like Rihanna and Katy Perry, definitely gives someone the required leverage to buy a place like that. The record producer of Stargate is one such person, who is putting up his lush equestrian empire up for auction.

Mikkel S. Eriksen first entered the American record industry in 2001 with the single ‘One Night Stand’. His record-producing company Stargate was founded in Norway in 1996 and within 5-6 years of its existence, he signed contracts with Katy Perry, Beyonce, and later on Rihanna. Today, the owner of a multi-million dollar equestrian estate is proudly displaying his heritage.

It has everything an equestrian estate owner would dream of

“Welcome to this exquisite Scandinavian Ranch, located in the highly sought-after Sullivan Canyon” goes the first statement of the Compass listing of the estate. It further describes how the grounds on its exterior are rich and lush with greenery and the overall sense it provides is of a “tranquil oasis”.

Located in the neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, this equestrian estate is listed at exactly $14.95 million and is custom-designed to its last corner. Unlike the deal of $5000000, Miley Cyrus made in 2018 for her equestrian estate, this estate is thrice as expensive. Four bedrooms and six bathrooms are just the beginning.

This glistering construction on 1508 Old Oak Road also consists of the following amenities: a full tennis court, a meditation pavilion, a pebble pool, a spa with an infrared sauna, a wellness center, a horse stable, high ceilings, and an outdoor fireplace. The estate is truly worth every penny.

Mikkel Eriksen’s years of hard work made it possible

Eriksen didn’t get to own such a massive, lavish property overnight. It took years of hard work and collaboration with Tor E. Hermansen in creating Stargate and then taking it off the ground. They produced the song ‘Irreplaceable’ by Beyonce, which became a worldwide hit and stayed on Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks. They also produced Katy Perry’s song ‘Firework’ from her 3rd studio album ‘Teenage Dream’, and are known for their longtime collaboration with Rihanna for many of her songs including ‘Don’t Stop the Music’, ‘Rude Boy’, ‘What’s My Name’, ‘Diamonds’, and many more.

All in all, those years of music producing and working with some of the biggest names in the industry paid off, and Stargate record producer Mikkel S. Eriksen could afford a luxurious equestrian estate to sell off at such a high rate. It was designed by Montalba Architects, who also designed Soho House, now known as Nikita Restaurant. The 5127-square-foot residence is slated to soon see a new owner.
