Equestrian uphill journey to renewal

According to SIMI VALLEY ACRON News, with an earmarked budget of $72 million for the upcoming fiscal year (2023-24), the center’s transformation signifies a promising chapter. $28 million is already allocated to the renovation, lighting, and construction of the center. The whole community is happy and excited about the authority’s decision. To this, the vice chairman, Elaine Freeman, says, “After 30 years, I think it’s a very important part of our community, and I’m grateful that it’s included”.

Also, the upgrades will involve repairs, accessibility enhancements, and more to revive the facility’s vibrancy and host more events. The board emphasized the significance of investing in this community asset for over three decades. The current budget is under process and the final budget approval is expected in late September or early October of 2023.
