As the equestrian sport continues to touch new heights with an action-packed schedule lined up in 2024, the sport is expanding into bigger and brighter horizons with teenage kids joining the bandwagon. All the great jockeys, show jumpers and dressage riders have started their careers very early in life, and if history repeats itself, we have a new champion in the making.

A toddler’s ‘cute’ horse racing video has surfaced online, and the internet can’t stop gushing. As the kid’s video goes viral over social media, her care for Pony has left equestrian enthusiasts melted. However, some have expressed contrasting opinions on the matter.

Viral horse riding video breaks the internet

In the latest Facebook update, a viral video originally posted by Newsflare, and shared by NTD Television, is making rounds on the internet. The video is of a small kid not more than 3 years old who can be seen riding and caring for his ponies. “Fearless horse enthusiast: Toddler rides and cares for her ponies at home“, the caption of the video read while NTD hailed the toddler as a ‘true pint-sized equestrian‘.

The video is believed to be from Slovakia, where a kid rides a horse inside a small training compound. As the horse makes a few rounds, the kid’s face starts beaming with joy. He can be later seen taking his other pony for a stroll, and later offering him an apple in the stable. The ‘pint-sized equestrian‘ shares a heartfelt connection with her horses, and is even making the pony eat from her own hands.

Equestrian enthusiasts share mixed reactions

These kinds of bonds between horses and humans are rare to be seen, let alone a strong bond between a toddler and a pony. However, as we witness one such memorable moment, the internet is softly melted. “Precious“, wrote one user recognizing the rarity of the moment. However, the majority shared a different opinion.

It was nonetheless a very heartwarming moment. However, the child wasn’t wearing a helmet while riding which irked a lot of fans. “Cute but for God’s sake put a helmet on the kid“, an angry user commented. It’s always a huge risk riding without a helmet. Highlighting the same, another fan added, “That looks unsafe. No helmet and the adult should be closer to the child in case they start to fall. Sorry that’s just my opinion.”

Other users were concerned about the effects of bouncing on the small kid. “Adorable-but is all that bouncing healthy for a baby? ” a user highlighted. It was nonetheless a heartfelt moment and could have been even more of a sweeter memory, had the safety concerns been taken care of.
