One of Louisville’s premier sporting events, it turns into a gala every year with the presence of celebrities gracing the occasion. This year too, the stadium is going to be packed with audiences wearing fascinators and adorned hats. And amidst them, a sprinkle of celebrities around. 

From Louisville rapper Jack Harlow to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to Captain Kirk fame actor Chris Pine, the list of celebrities attending the event is long and illustrious. 

Kentucky Derby shows love as stars grace the event

The Twitter page of Kentucky Derby has been busy. And with the arrival of A-list stars, their account is sharing some glimpses of their presence just prior to the event. Here’s a tweet by Kentucky Derby that went, “LOVE YA @jackharlow” with a kiss emoji inserted between. Jack Harlow is wearing a dapper, greyish suit and addressing the fans with a V-sign. 

Another tweet by Kentucky Derby read, “Our favorite Chris. Tiny Mic” with a handshake emoji inserted between. Star Trek actor Chris Pine was wearing a brown suit on top of a pink shirt and had his sunglasses on. He was also wearing a smile in one picture while kissing the tiny mic in another.

Besides local rapper Harlow, another celebrity that graced the occasion was local team Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes. Fresh off winning his 2nd Super Bowl this year, Mahomes was in town for the grand occasion. Mahomes was also greeted by James Franklin McIngvale, renowned sports bettor and American business magnate, at the event.

The celebrity list gets longer and longer

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, Boyz II Men, Smokey Robinson, Justine Hartley, etc, are just a few among many other big names that are part of the list. These celebrities were all gathered in Patricia Barnstable Brown’s house in Louisville for the star-studded bash. The gala began on May 5 at 8 pm. Besides a jovial gathering, the bash was instrumental in collecting millions of dollars, which all went to the Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center.

Besides, this pre-event gala, another unbridled eve party took place at the Galt House Hotel. D.B. With such hype and glamour and glitz around the corner, the Kentucky Derby race, which is about to commence in a couple of hours, has certainly got everyone’s attention.
