Police investigation into the tragic passing

The Cambridgeshire Police responded to the call at 5.05 am and, from their preliminary investigation, were able to determine that there were no signs of foul play. Shortly afterwards, they released an official report that read, “The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and has been handed to the coroner”. Now, it remains to be seen what the post-mortem report unveils about his mysterious passing.

Jordan’s employer, de Foy, paid tribute to the young man by withdrawing two of his horses scheduled to compete in a race on Saturday. He spoke to the Racing Post, saying, “Everyone at Machell Place and Egerton Stables is devastated”. Kevin Philippart de Foy revealed a lot of information about Jordan’s character and dedication to his work. He added that Jordan loved the horses and was a wonderful person to be around. Jordan loved playing cricket in his spare time and also had plans to play a game on Sunday. A spokesperson for the Newmarket Cricket Club that Jordan was a part of speaking to Horse and Hound, expressing his deep regret for the loss with the words, “RIP Jordy“. Several others have also expressed their condolences, emphasizing his positive impact on the racing community.

The racing community mourns a beloved work rider

A spokesperson from the Racing Welfare organization has expressed her sadness for Jordan’s passing. All the members of the organization have shared their condolences with Jordan’s family and offered their support during this difficult time. His employer, de Foy, with whom Jordy had spent the last two years of his life, went back to the moment when Jordy first joined his stable. He had moved from Yorkshire, where he previously worked for David Simcock. Everyone at the stable called him a “fantastic lad” for both his personality and his work ethic.

His cricket club members played in the Sunday match wearing black armbands. They also observed a minute’s silence for their friend. The Racing Welfare has also started a charity to help out Jordan’s family. The racing community’s support is a kind gesture of cherishing Jordy’s spirit forever in their hearts.
