The 2024 Cairo World Cup came to an end on February 24. The contest framed a special mention as the top-ranked foil teams were to cement their Olympic contention. But, the American team evaded every challenge to win the top position. Previously, they both earned their individual insignias in the Cairo World Cup. The achievement felt sweeter as the USA defeated the current no. 1 ranked Italy in the final. So as the present situation goes, the USA is standing in the second ranking, having the same points as France in the World Team Foil chart. But in Kairo, the American women’s spearheads decimated France as well to climb the ladder to the final. So, before the Paris Olympics 2024, this achievement may send a relief to the Stars and Stripes camp. As the current scenario goes, the first four foil teams will earn their nominations to the Olympic Games. But the USA team is noticing their sure shot depending on the team women’s individual brilliance.
