In the midst of the hope that the Olympic Games will be held in the country, the president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach, praised the development of the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

“We will start applying for the Paralympic World Championships, and we will send the application letter soon. We saw it with the minister (of sports, Jaime Pizarro) and the undersecretary (Antonia Illanes), and little by little we are making progress,” he said. The Grimalt cousins ??won a bronze medal in Pe?alol?n and this decision cemented the higher authorities’ decision to hold the Olympics.
