At the last matchup, LSU witnessed a major setback that came prior to massive spectator support. Interestingly, most of the crowd came up to the arena late due to early match time and ticket sales suspension. However, this turned out to be a memorable match for LSU’s team, as 12,580 fans showed up to record a second consecutive sellout at PMAC.

After the conclusion of the recent matchup, head coach Clark said, “I was concerned. I don’t understand why we had to have a 5 o’clock start…I know they wanted to put the best. What they felt was the best matchup was on ESPN2 versus the SEC Network, and that’s great, except that if you do it at 5 o’clock, people can’t get here.”
