In one of Suni’s Instagram stories, the Olympic gold medalist posted a picture of some winter clothing. In the image, a knitted cap is visible. Also visible are a pair of winter gloves and some other clothes. After receiving the gifts, Lee posted the shot with the caption, “Chloe Kim i love you so much, i’m obsessed.”

The gift came with a note from ROXY, the company with whom Kim collaborated to create the collection. It read, “Dear Sunisa, we are so happy to share Chloe Kim’s very first snow collection!! Chloe designed it to be technical, comfortable and fun, and it means a lot to her that you be one of the first to try it out! We hope you love it as much as we do! The Roxy Team.”

Kim partnered with ROXY to produce her first clothing collection. The company announced on November 2; the set consists of snowboarding clothes. ROXY said the clothes are lightweight and designed for performance. Maybe that’s why Kim sent it to a champion gymnast like Suni.

Kim and Suni reached the top of their sport. However, with more public recognition, came more mental pressure. Suni said that she went through anxiety after winning gold, and in February, Kim said she would take a year off from competing. The snowboarder said she, like Suni, is also suffering the stress induced by the ever-increasing expectations of the fans.

Kim is now one of many elite athletes, including Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka, who’ve spoken publicly about their mental health troubles.
