The anticipation for the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship is reaching its peak. Fans eagerly await the event live from Antwerp, Belgium. This is the third time that Belgium will be conducting the World Championships. Spanning from 30th September as its first day, the world is all set to watch the event live at 4:00 pm. However, amidst the excitement, a notable absence from the women’s team USA looms large in the form of Sunisa Lee.

The 2020 Olympic All-around champion, a 20-year-old prodigy was missing from the championship selection camp held on September 19 and 20 in Katy, Texas. Along similar lines, Lee will be absent from the Worlds as well. Her absence is a result of her ongoing non-gymnastics issues. Despite temporarily departing from the sport in April, Lee has found a unique way to participate in the championship, earning admiration from her supporters.
