It marked the first time an American men’s team finished at the top of the pile in the DMT since 2013. On that occasion in Sofia, Bulgaria, Alex Renkert, Ryan Roberts, Austin White, and Austin Nacey brought home the gold. Incidentally, that was Team USA’s first gold medal in the men’s team DMT since 1999. The result achieved by Padilla’s team in the current edition of the Trampoline & Tumbling World Championships made history in that regard. With the individual events lying in wait, a lot more lies at stake.
