MyKayla Skinner, a renowned American gymnast known for her incredible feats on the mat, embarked on a new journey this year: motherhood. Once talking about the difficulties she encountered in her pregnancy Skinner said, “I really thought I was going to work out during this pregnancy, and I just really can’t.” She had no idea that the postpartum period would present its own set of challenges.
Skinner was open about the challenges she faced in the first few weeks of motherhood sharing how her daughter needed constant care and attention. Now, after a few months, Skinner went back to the exercise machines, determined to return to her pre-pregnancy levels of fitness.
