Gymnastics star Jordan Chiles is ready to face a new challenge. The Olympic medalist, after participating with her best friend Simone Biles at the US Hydration Classics in Chicago, is looking forward to another major event. Jordan Chiles will be now competing in the US Gymnastics Championship next week. The announcement came after the 22-year-old was not able to qualify for the Classics.

The Gymnastics Championships held in San Jose will be a four-day event starting on August 24. And after the Classics, being the last qualifying event for the championship, a total of 147 top-notch gymnasts were able to make the list. Recently Chiles, who is ready to strike her magic at the event, shared a training update on social media.

Jordan Chiles ready for another exciting event

On August 19, Jordan Chiles shared an exciting update with the fans. The athlete posted a post-training picture on her Instagram story with the caption, “Done for the day! T-4 days until we are in San Jose.” In the photo, Jordan Chiles, who seemed tired yet stoked for the upcoming event, was seen lying on a mat and posing a peace sign for the camera.

This story came only a few days after Jordan Chiles’s announcement regarding her participation in the championship on Instagram. On August 15, the gymnast posted a picture of her exhibiting a staunch move, with the caption “ready for the championships! Y’all are ready for another party.

Jordan Chiles, who has been taking a break from college gymnastics, announced this update after facing disappointment at the Hydration Classics.

As the gymnast was able to secure the fourth position on uneven bars in Chicago. Nonetheless, Jordan Chiles is now looking forward to showing her skills in San Jose. Interestingly, apart from Chiles, many other staunch athletes have also decided to participate in the Championship.

Top-notch athletes at the US gymnastics championships

The US Gymnastics Championships will be filled with top-notch athletes this year. At the event, 29 senior women qualified for the championship, including Chile’s best friend Simone Biles. The GOAT of the gymnastics, after an extraordinary comeback at the US Classics, was able to add her name to the list. Apart from Biles, Sunisa Lee and Jade Carey, who also participated in the Classics aiming to secure their seats in big games, will be taking part in the championship. While On the other hand, 49 men have made the senior men’s list in this year’s event.
