As 83 Year Old Rock n Roll Queen Passes Away, US Olympian Joins in Mourning

On 24th May 2023, the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Tina Turner, took her last breath and left the musical realm to ponder over her legacy. Following her unfortunate demise, folks from several domains expressed their eulogies and paid their heartfelt tributes. Along similar lines, NCAA gymnast, Jordan Chiles also expressed her unfeigned encomium for the legend.

A few hours ago, Chiles took to her Instagram to pay her sincere tributes to singer, musician, and actress, Tina Turner, who died at 83 on Wednesday.

In her Instagram story, Chiles shared a picture of the musical sensation with the message “Tina Turner. The Queen of Rock’ n Roll. Dies Age 83” Moreover, the picture featured a black and white still of Turner, in which I can see her holding a mic while performing on the stage. Expressing her shock on the unfortunate passing of the Swiss prodigy, Chiles penned, Crazy” with two teary-eyed emoticons.

Tennessee-born Tina Turner paved the way for Rock n Roll music for women in the entertainment industry. The late singer was a force to be reckoned with in the 1960s. Proud Mary, Get Back, What’s Love Got To Do With It, were some of her massive solo hits.

Expressing his earnest eulogies for the singer, ex-President Barack Obama penned, “Tina Turner was raw. She was powerful. She was unstoppable. And she was unapologetically herself—speaking and singing her truth through joy and pain; triumph and tragedy. Today we join fans around the world in honoring the Queen of Rock and Roll, and a star whose light will never fade.”

Keith Urban, a 4-time Grammy winner also paid his tribute to the legend. He wrote, “I just heard about Tina Turner’s passing, and it hit my heart… I’m grateful that we have the music and the performances… Thank you for everything you gave Tina.”  The 4x MVP LeBron James also took to his Instagram story and added, “Rest in Paradise Queen Tina!”.
