Simone Biles is a renowned gymnast. Despite being 25 years old, Simone has already won 25 World Championship medals. With 7 Olympic medals, she is the most decorated gymnast in history. Recipient of the prestigious “Presidential Medal of Freedom,” Simone’s life is illustrious.

In her official autobiography, “Courage to Soar,” Simone shares her life experiences. She shares how her faith, family, passion, and perseverance helped her curve her gymnastics career. Starting her career young, Simone began earning from a young age, but then for the little girl, everything was not easy.

Simone was too young to understand her finances

As Simone gained popularity, she started to get endorsements from several big companies. With raising income, Simone’s parents were worried about “financial planning.” The Biles couple wanted Simone to get professional help for managing her finances.

But on the eve of their 19th birthday, Simone was hardly interested in such heavy talks. Talking about it with her mother, she says she told her to “think of something big.” Confessing her feelings, Simone says, “I barely know anything about the world outside gymnastics!” 

When asked by her brother what she wanted to do, Simone said she wanted to take a “five-day vacation in Bora-Bora” with a couple of her friends. But raising her concerns, she counter asks her brother, “What do you think? Could I even afford that?”

However, brushing all her concerns aside, her brother reassured her that she could afford a Bora-Bora vacation anytime she wanted. She beamed with joy and announced, “Bora-bora, here I come!”

Simone Biles Enjoying Her Pre-Wedding time

Biles always speaks of saving money and spending it judiciously. Having faced hardships in her initial days, she fears going broke. But for a change, she took a break and enjoyed herself thoroughly in her “pre-wedding festivities.”

Sharing a fun time with her friend, Simone shared pictures of herself enjoying a cruise ride. After two years of dating, Simone announced her engagement with NFL star Jonathan Owens earlier this year.
