Owens was ready with an answer. Replying with all his honesty, he said, “I was a little nervous at first.” Further, he went on to describe the situation. He said, “for the longest Simone was just sitting right next to us, so I couldn’t really say what I wanted.”

Though her parent’s reaction remains unavailable, according to Simone, “Everybody loves him, even my family too.” Talking with parents can sometimes be tricky, especially when the parents in question are one’s, potential future in-laws. Even Simone was scared a little when she took Jonathan home for the first time.

Simone knows that parents can sometimes be “a little harsh.” Thus, she had her share of fears when she took Owens to meet her parents for the first time. Unaware of what can be the reactions, she beforehand gave Jonathan some warnings.

“So don’t worry if they don’t like you,” was the advice that she gave Jonathan. However, things went well. She introduced him to her whole family, and everyone liked him. Like previous times, as well this time Simone’s parents trusted her decision and showed her their support.
