Suni Lee reflects on her transition
After winning gold at the Tokyo Olympics, Suni Lee enrolled at Auburn University to pursue her education. The 19-year-old gold medalist competed for her university for the time being. She claimed to have enjoyed her time at the university.

Suni Lee said, “Having teammates, being somewhat normal is amazing.” Lee had an unforgettable time at college, and being a part of the crowd was new for her. She claimed she enjoyed the transition but was now ready for new challenges.
Suni Lee revealed that she would return to the Elite Olympics in the 2024 Paris Olympics. She enjoyed the feeling of holding the gold medal to her chest. She didn’t want it to be a one-time thing and wanted to compete again.

When Simone Biles was at crossroads
For athletes, having to choose between their career and their education is nothing new. Simone Biles once found herself in a similar situation and needed to make a choice. The support of Biles’ parents encouraged her to seek a career in professional athletics.

Her mother had the opinion that she may enroll in college and finish her coursework at any time. But after a few years, she would be unable to pursue a career. Her father also believed that she was extremely rare to cut and should make use of her potential.
