Over the years, Simone Biles has not just established herself as a gymnastic maestro but has also earned herself the name of a ‘fashion icon.’ The 25-year-old believes ‘courage is a superpower.’ It’s not just her mantra to succeed but is also the ideal behind her fashion label, Athena. Back in 2021, Simone partnered with Athleta to inspire the future generation.

Since then, the gymnast maestro has collaborated and posted promotional videos for it. Recently, Simone kick-started her Christmas shopping, but she was quick on the run. She thus asked for fans’ help, which they did happily.

With Christmas just around the corner, Simone has already started shopping. Sharing her shopping video in her official Instagram profile, she wrote, “getting my holiday shopping done early with @athleta at my store here in Houston!! y’all know I had to do a quick try-on 😉🎁.”

Trying so many outfits, the Olympic gold medalist was hence confused. She thus enquired her fans,” which look is your fave?” Much to her delight, the fans were quick to reply. One of her fans quickly wrote, “So cute in the shrug!!!” While the other one wrote, “They all look wonderful, I don’t know. The black and white one looks beautiful on you. I guess that one.” Smitten by her elegance and beauty, one user simply wrote, “Amazing😍”

For the unversed, Simone posted this video to promote her associate brand Athleta. Surprised by the gymnast star’s involvement in the fashion industry, one fan wrote, “It’s her brand Simone biles clothes; wow, I didn’t know Simone has her own brand.” Simone and Athleta are associated with a long-term partnership.

The said video was posted from Chile, and hence one of her fans from there wrote, “You are very sweet; greetings from Chile, dear Simone; good vibrations with you 😍😍😍😍.” However, this is not the first time Simone has surprised her fans with her fashion statement.

Simone turned heads during the Met Gala 2021 event

It’s just not the vault skills that Simone has a mastery on; she is also widely followed for her fashion sense. In 2021, she created a fashion statement when she walked the Met red carpet with her 88-pound gown. Designed by Piotrek Panszczyk and Beckett Fogg, the dress was an ensemble of three-in-one pieces.

The statement piece was covered in Swarovski crystals. Underneath the white gown was a glittering catsuit that resembled a starry night. Simone attended the event as the brand partner for Athleta. The creation required 6,650 hours of labor. The 88-pound costume had almost 17,000 feet of Swarovski Glass crystal chains linked to it. There were around 200 feet of tulle in the ensemble as well. The silver and dazzling black robe for the Olympic star was so hefty that it took six men to carry it.
