Newlyweds Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens have entered a new phase of their life after their wedding this month. Post-wedding shenanigans were cut short as Owens made a huge career change, shifting to Green Bay Packers from his home team, the Houston Texans. As a result, the couple is technically managing a long-distance relationship. Yet, either of them ensures to fly down to visit the other every weekend.

After Owens visited Houston last week, it was Mrs. Owens’s turn to fly out to Wisconsin. As it turns out, the gymnastics queen was well-received by the Packers team. 

Simone Biles enjoys a sunny day with the Packers

On May 28, Gerron Jordan, news anchor at Wisn 12 News took to his Twitter page to share glimpses of Simone Biles having the time of her life with her husband and the Packers team. Jordan’s caption indicated that the gymnast has smoothly become the talk of the city. The news anchor shared two pictures of Simone Biles enjoying a sunny day in Door County. It was a screenshot of Packers player Aj Dillon’s wife Gabrielle Dillon’s Instagram story.

Sharing the snaps, the news anchor captioned his post,  “@Simone_Biles living her best Door County life this weekend with the Packers is the content I didn’t know I needed.” In the first snap, Biles was amusingly posing with NFL player Aj Dillon, tilting their body and waving their hands. Delighted by the great time they had, Mrs. Dillon expressed in her story, “10/10 weekend.” In the second snap, Simone and Jonathan were seen cozied up and lounging in a boat. Simone was indeed living her best weekend life, as is evident in the pictures.

 Besides enjoying the sunny day, Biles was also seen racing against NFL player Christian Watson on a grassy field by the sea. She shared the moment on her Instagram story.  The duo began from a starting point and as they approached the finish line, Watson overtook Simone and won the race. Nevertheless, the Texan gave stiff competition to the 6’5″ giant.  

“Cryin on the Plane”: Due to Jonathan Owens’ Career, Simone Biles Might Be Shifting Out of Her Hometown Soon

Biles’s presence in Wisconsin has taken the city by storm. In fact, she stirred excitement in the city’s gymnasium initially when Owens signed a contract with Green Bay Packers on May 12.

Green Bay gymnasts could not keep their calm

Young gymnasts in the city were over the moon when Jonathan Owens flew to Wisconsin to practice with his new team. The city’s gymnasts speculated that due to the NFL player, gymnast Simone Biles would also shift to Wisconsin someday. Hence, to express their excitement they made a special video. 

The video begins with “Hey Simone!” Moreover, budding gymnasts told 2 First Alert News,  “She’s my role model. I just wanna be like her when I grow up.” Another added, “I freaked out. I was like, I froze..my percentage went up to meet her.” However, soon after the speculations went viral Simone wrote in her story that she was never going to leave Houston. While it might upset a few, they are sure to see her more often than not before her husband’s six-year contract with the Packers ends.
