Talking about it, Morgan adds that despite finding satisfaction in collegiate gymnastics, she felt a yearning to return to elite competition, which was also fuelled by the forthcoming Olympics. She adds, “For the past two and a half years after Tokyo I’ve been in Utah, in America, doing collegiate gymnastics while also studying at university. I’ve been loving it out there, but obviously, with the competition this year and the Olympics coming up, I wanted to come back and do some elite competitions and be where I could be.”

Furthermore, she adds that witnessing athletes “compete internationally and even internal British Championships”, infused her with a “feeling of competing with a home crowd.” And, this is why she is back.
