The 22-year-old American athlete, Jordan Chiles is a powerpack of artistic gymnastics. And since 2013, she has been a constant member of the US Gymnastics national team. When she won her perfect 10 on bars in NCAA Championships 2023, the athlete felt boosted to participate in Paris Olympics 2024. And along with other gymnasts, she started her training for Paris Olympics and took part in US Classic 2023.

With her best friend, Simone Biles, she was training at the World Champion Center in Texas for the US Classic and Paris Games. The gymnast was running at the same pace as her best friend, Biles, and greatly performed at the US Trials. She will now be performing at the US Gymnastics Champions in San Jose. The 22-year-old shared a post on social media regarding the San Jose tournament on which she received heartwarming messages from her fans, and World Champion Sunisa Lee. 

Jordan Chiles looks forward to making her mark again

Chiles earned perfect 10 scores on the parallel bars in the 2023 NCAA Championships, with 13.900 en route, 5.700 difficulty score, and 8.200 execution score. Post that, she decided to prepare for the Olympics 2024 instead of UCLA.

To qualify for the Olympics, she took part in uneven bars and balance beam in the US Classics. Unfortunately, she could not win despite her passionate training and high-powered performance. Her UCLA Coach, Janelle McDonald praised Chiles by saying, “I couldn’t be more proud of how she did.” This defeat did not back down the athlete, and she will be returning in the San Jose championship that is scheduled on August 25 and 27. Seeing her staunch passion for the sport, many fans expressed their delight, with reigning all-around Olympic champion Sunisa Lee also chiming in.

Sunisa Lee, who will also perform in the San Jose Championships said, “Stunner Jo.” A user said, “You were phenomenal to watch in person!” Another fan praised Chiles by saying, “Sparkling! Let’s go Champs!”, while one fan asserted, “Proud of you.” Many more fans uplifted her and said, “Get it girl!!”
