Isabella,14, is the niece of the late Robert Brookins from the legendary music group Earth, Wind & Fire. She embarked on her gymnastics journey at the age of 7, driven by a fierce competitive spirit that has led to her remarkable success. Leana, at just 11, received the gift of gymnastics from her father.

A pair of talented young athletes have come together to create an exceptional acrobatic gymnastics duo. They won first place in the national gymnastics competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 24. As they stood atop the podium, they received a special chance to represent the United States in Chile as members of both the Pan-American and international teams.

Leana Borodayev had this to say about her partner: “I thought Isabella was really cool and really, really flexible.” Isabella Brookins reflects on their journey: “It was all really new to me, but I was ready for anything,” Brookins shared. “I was determined to go to a higher level because we were supposed to be at a really low level to start, but we convinced our coach to move us up.

As these two young talents continue to rise in the gymnastics world, their journey is not without challenges. Financial challenges are arising for both families due to their daughter’s successful endeavours, as they grapple with the expenses of supporting their international competition travels.

Isabella Brookins and Leana Borodayev, emerging gymnastic talents, are reaching new heights in their careers. However, for the gymnasts, the path to success came with financial challenges. owever, their families have shown unwavering support, with parents making sacrifices to enable their daughter’s dreams. Lana Borodayev, Leana’s mother, shares, “I have four kids, and Leana is the oldest, with my youngest being just 1. Every time we travel, my mom stays with the kids.”

Recognizing the financial commitment required, Isabella, and Leana have turned to their local community for assistance. They’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign to garner support from individuals who believe in their potential.
