Former NFL Star Drops ‘Insider Information’ on Simone Biles’ Gymnastics Comeback: “She’s Moved Past All the Stuff”

It has been two years since Simone Biles took a break from her gymnastics career. The Olympic gymnast has been focusing on her mental wellness ever since she took hiatus from her beloved sport. In these years, Biles got married, went on vacations, welcomed her newborn niece, and made loads of happy memories. However, now the sports world is eagerly waiting for her grand comeback. Although, the gymnast has not officially commented on her return, but recently legendary NFL player Brady Quinn revealed an important update on the hot topic. 

On June 1, Brady Quinn appeared in an interview with NFL on CBS. While discussing the sport, he gave insider information about how Biles is prepping to face the gymnastics world again.

Recently, while sharing various nooks and crannies about NFL, host Katie Mox mentioned the Instagram snap that featured Simone Biles racing against Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson weeks ago. The host asked Brady Quinn to guess who won that race. 

Quinn began to answer the question by analyzing how Simone Biles is. Talking about her, he mentioned that lately, Biles has been training to return to gymnastics. Quinn told, “I don’t know if this is public or not.. Biles is returning” The former NFL player’s statement intrigued the discussion panel. Revealing more details on the gymnast’s comeback, he added, “we’re in good hands of Simone’s back all right hopefully she’s moved past all the stuff she’s dealt with”

The 38-year-old indicated that Biles has overcome the mental block she was facing as a gymnast. After giving herself a break, she is preparing to get back to the gymnastics podium. However, in the end, Quinn put his bet on Watson, considering his fast pace at the matches. Ultimately, it turned out that the winner between Biles and Watson was the NFL player.

As Biles’s most anticipated wedding day is over now, fans are speculating that the gymnast might make her comeback in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Although Biles has not confirmed any speculations, she did comment on the upcoming Olympics.

In September 2022, Simone Biles talked about her comeback speculation in a conversation on The Late Late Show With James Corden. There, the gymnast explained that she was yet to fully heal mentally and physically. However, she confirmed that she will be present at the 2024 Paris Olympics but cannot confirm whether as a participant or in the audience.

In the 2021 Olympics, when Simone was about to perform at the Olympics podium, she faced a sudden realization of how much she had put her body and mind under pressure for so many years. At that moment, she could not connect herself with gymnastics. Hence, she took the brave decision to back out right from her spotlight moment.
