In a recent interview, the 20-year-old superstar talked about the game and the business. While she narrated how she began her journey as a young entrepreneur, she also revealed that the Olympic champion and the legendary figure, Nastia Liukin, has been one of the major driving forces behind her success. In a conversation with women’s sports journalist Ari Chambers, Wong was asked who is the one person that she has been looking up to since her childhood. “I always remember Nastia Liukin when she became the Olympic Champion”, said Wong.

When Chambers further asked her, “How does it feel you’re somebody’s ‘Nastia Liukin?” Wong, with a heart full of gratitude, immediately replied, “As a little gymnast I was always looking up to gymnasts at worlds and Olympics. And now that I am in this place, I mean, it’s actually unbelievable, and just have so many little girls looking up to me”. Wong also shared how she feels when she steps onto the mat. She added how she is just excited to show the world what she has been practicing in the gym for so long.
