Gymnastics is a sport that defies gravity and displays some breathtaking flips and beautiful twists. Gymnasts combine their strength with agility and leave their audience mesmerized with perfect and synchronized routines. However, behind the ultimate routines, lies countless hours of blood, sweat, and inevitable lows. On the same note, the 20-year-old American gymnast Olivia Dunne also faced rather a bumpy landing while performing some exacting routines.

In a sport where perfection is being pursued constantly, one up-and-coming gymnast is captivating people both on and off the field. 20-year-old American gymnast, Olivia Dunne, is slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with in gymnastics. In 2020, she became a part of the LSU Tigers’ gymnastics team. With her skills and likability, Olivia Dunne is one of the most followed NCAA athletes on social media. Hence, as she recently incurred some turbulence in her practice sessions, her social media family raised concerns regarding her well-being.

The American recently took to TikTok and uploaded a video wherein she compiled a series of clips showcasing her not-so-perfect moments. 2 million people have since viewed the video. The video starts with a couple of beautiful flips and perfect landings by the 20-year-old.

As the video progresses, we can see Dunne wobbling and falling on the beam repeatedly. Even her background audio is synced perfectly, which goes on to say, “Oh,okay. It’s got a little kick. Oh”. Her fans resonated with her fails and were quick to comment with words of support for Dunne.

Fans react to Olivia Dunne’s fail compilation

Fans sympathized and encouraged the 20-year-old gymnast by showing their support in the comment section. A user wrote, “That looks painful”. While another commented, “Bruises gotta be purple.” One individual who was in awe of the American wrote, “I really don’t know how you can do the things you gymnasts do. its amazing.” A supporter who had words of encouragement for Olivia commented, “Hang in there girl you got this.”  One impressed fan had a question for Dunne, “Wow! A lot of dedication there! I know that’s how it’s done but are there like hockey pads or something to protect your tailbone?
