One of those techniques, the split, is quite simple for some and very difficult for any common person. However, practically anyone can perform a split. If you put a lot of effort into your stretching, you can perfect it even if you’re incredibly tight. Similarly, the incredible gymnastics of all time, like Simone Biles and Aly Raisman, known as the god of gymnastics, split. 

The USA gymnastics team created chaos worldwide with their astounding performance in 2016. The final five performers were invited to the White House in the team all-around competition. In addition, Aly Raisman and Simone Biles made the former President do something incredible in the white house. 

Aly Raisman says Barack Obama ‘was not good at it’

They won 7 medals individually at the 2016 Summer Olympics in addition to the gold in the all-around team competition. Due to this, the legendary gymnastics ladies was invited to the White House. There, former President Barack Obama gave a speech encouraging the confidence of gymnasts. 

There all the girls asked Obama to perform a split. After seeing him doing it, Aly stated, “He wasn’t that good at it, so it wasn’t that nerve-wracking because he couldn’t really do it. It’s okay; he gets an A for effort. … We just told him ‘good job.’”

The President’s and first ladies’ heartwarming gestures made the final five teams comfortable enough. However, it was the last time Aly was in the white house. On the other hand, Simone was awarded with the Presidential medal of freedom in 2022.

One of the most well-known athletes in the world is Simone Biles. The 25-years-old altered the whole reality with her astounding performance throughout her career. Over the years, Simone rose to fame over the years with her incredible gymnastics career and personal life. Similarly, like Aly, Simone also rated the split of Obama; she said, “I think he got a 10 because he’s not used to doing it, and he tried it in a suit, so that’s like bonus points.”

President Obama faced difficulty doing Simone and Aly’s assignment, but with enough flexibility, he could impress the team of top-notch gymnasts. One of the best things about President Obama is his astounding health, thanks to his physical training and basketball habit.
