A couple of days ago, Jordan was off to Paris to nurture her gymnastics skills. But, this is not the only reason for making waves these days.

Jordan Chiles gained widespread attention when a video capturing her meeting with two renowned athletes went viral online. Remarkably, the encounter proved to be a deeply emotional experience, leaving not only Chiles herself but also her mother visibly moved.

In a recent Twitter post, Arielle (Ari) Chambers posted a glimpse of the NIKE air. Alongside the video, she penned, “Who all do you see at @Nike on Air?”. Within a couple of hours of getting uploaded, Ari’s tweet also attracted Gina Chiles’ attention. When the 22-year-old gymnast’s mother came across the post, she said, “I spy my Baby Girl @ChilesJordan!! Yes, I cried. She’s up there TAKING UP SPACE!!

Jordan Chiles, aka the Tokyo Olympic silver medalist, is not only known for her performance on the mat but is also popular for her sassy style. Back in June 2023, Nike recognized her style and signed a deal with her. Since then, Jordan is known as a Nike athlete and has been promoting the brand alongside other legendary sports personalities.

In a turn of events, this led the 22-year-old to join hands with tennis sensation Serena William at the NIKE on Air, as visible in the video reposted by Gina Chiles. However, this is not the recent collaboration for the World and Pan American Champion with the global athletic wear brand, Nike.

Recently, Nike planned a WWD shoot wherein the brand offered the opportunity to the basketball coach Dawn Staley, and Jordan Chiles to collaborate for the first time. In an exclusive interview with WWD, Dawn Staley said, “She’s magnetic,” she added, “She takes inspiration from other disciplines and learns from their ‘secret sauce.’ I like to hear the story behind how she’s elevated herself to stay at the top of her game.”

While Dawn enjoyed Jordan Chiles’ company at the association, Jordan re-lived the moment with the brands that once associated with her grandparent. She said, “It’s a full-circle moment.” However, Jordan’s goals are still intact for her. As the US Olympic gymnastics team is yet to be decided, Jordan with unwavering determination is looking for the opportunity to take up the spot on the roster.
