The young gymnast has kept her fans on the hook since she got engaged in February last year. While time and again she updated her fans about her wedding preparations, the gymnast made it a point to not reveal the dates. Earlier today, Biles took to her Instagram to reveal that she is now officially Mrs. Owens.

A few minutes ago, Simone Biles took to her Instagram to drop six gorgeous photos from her much-awaited wedding. In less than 15 minutes the post has garnered more than 108,000 likes and thousands of comments indicating how excited fans were to witness the couple’s union.

The first photo captured Biles walking out of the church hand-in-hand with her husband Jonathan Owens. A beautiful photo wherein Owens dipped his wife, sealing their union with a kiss followed it. The next three photos featured the couple walking in and out of the venue, along with one from the ceremony. In the last photo, Mrs. Owens had her arms hooked around her husband’s neck as the couple shared another kiss.

Ahead of Her Destination Wedding, Simone Biles Takes a Hilarious Dig at Her Guests

Adding a caption to the post, the new bride wrote, “I do 🤍 officially owens 🤍.” As soon as the post was shared, fans and friends of the newlywed couple flooded the comments section with good wishes. As Jonathan Owens put it, “Wifey got a great ring to it. First day of forever“. As the fans were kept in the dark about the wedding date, Biles had fun teasing them with the extra information she had.

Biles once teased her fans with the wedding invitation

Back in June 2022, Simone Biles pranked her fans with the invite to her wedding. Biles had taken to her Instagram stories to share a photo of the invitation. While the fans got excited at the first sight, little did they know their beloved gymnast had a trick up her sleeves.

The card featured a beautiful collage of the pictures of the couple, shot on the beach. On top of the photos, written in cursive were the words “save the date.” As the fans scanned the snap for the date, soon enough they realized the mischievous gymnast had hidden it with her finger.
