“I Smell Gold”: Fans Swarm Yul Moldauer Witnessing His Spellbinding Gymnastics Moves at DTB Cup

Yul Moldauer has been a force to be reckoned with in the men’s gymnastics domain. The athlete has been a face of the United States at some of the major competitions, and he has been able to achieve some significant milestones lately. Winning the all-around title in the senior men’s category at the recently concluded Winter Cup was another feather that he added to his crown. To add more to it, the six-time U.S. world team member is now considered one of the top contenders at the upcoming Summer Olympics.

His excellence in gymnastics is so pronounced that he left his fans mesmerized with his flair routines in the 2024 DTB Pokal Cup. Yul Moldauer shared the video of the same on his social media, and it’s something that shouldn’t be missed.

The 27-year-old athlete shared a video of himself on Saturday in which the gymnast is performing a pommel horse routine in the aforementioned competitions. “Set from Pommel horse finals!” is what he wrote in the caption of the clip, and his single- and double-hand routines are as smooth as they ever get. Yul Moldauer concludes the exercise with a handstand, gracefully acknowledging the spectators as he lands back on the ground after a 45-second bewitching display.

The 2024 DTB Pokal Team Challenge and Mixed Cup is currently underway in Stuttgart, Germany, where the South Korean-born gymnast is one of the five contestants of the men’s senior US team, with Cameron Bock, Riley Loos, Curran Phillips, and Shane Wiskus being the four others. From the looks of it, Yul Moldauer looks poised to bring glory to his nation, and his fans are surely there to cheer their hearts out for him, as evident from the comment section of the above video.

Support floods in from fans for the gymnast

Fans could not hold themselves back after seeing his killer moves and started to fill the comment section of the video with their encouraging affirmations. One fan was so impressed with his performance that he anticipated gold for him at the upcoming Olympics, as she wrote, “I smell gold at the Olympics.” A fan came with heartfelt praise for him and wrote, “Love watching this! You float! How strong are you that you make yourself look weightless? So impressive!!”

Another fan seemed impressed with his graceful moves as he stated, “wowza! so fluid! and set to adagio for strings…so excellent!” One other fan appreciates Moldauer’s precise pommel horse execution as he writes “Squeaky clean.” There were several other comments, like “I love it!!! That was a marathon set!” and “love to watch your routines…it looks so easy,” which speaks to the volume of his flawless execution.
