On 1st November 2023, Tuesday, Liukin took to her handle and added a new post. The athlete shared a series of pictures of her wearing a white varsity jacket accompanied by a caption. It reads, “To those little or big moments that make us feel proud – of ourselves and each other. Excited to introduce to you one of the most special pieces of this collection: THE LAYLA VARSITY JACKET”.

She further added, “Taking you all back with me a bit… the year is 1998. I had just won the Level 6 TEXAS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS. 4 gold medals to be exact – I won every event on bars because I went too high on my cast handstands.” Liukin through her caption conveys that despite this she felt like she owned the world, envisioning herself as an Olympic champion. Now, fast forward precisely 10 years, when it was 2008, this time she achieved her dream.

The queen emerged victorious at the Olympic Games and found herself at the peak of that same little world back in 1988 in Texas days.  Coming back to collaboration, the gymnast has been a part of the ongoing Tower 28 beauty, the athlete has made waves in the gymnastics world.
