Like parents all over the world perpetually dissatisfied with how their children don’t heed their words, parents can start behaving more and more like their kids as they grow older. Jordan Chiles is known for her significant contributions to the national gymnastics team. However, the Olympian’s mother might need to pay more attention to friendly advice if she wants to avoid certain scarring experiences.

In a recent Instagram post, Gina Chiles, Jordan Chiles’ mother, proceeded to observe AI-generated pictures properly and was left with a harrowing experience. While most of us are aware of taking AI-generated allied aspects with a grain of salt, Gina Chiles should consider warnings on social media.

Olympian’s mother ignores cautionary suggestion

Images that are created by AI based on human prompts can be dicey. While these images capture most facets correctly, minor details can result in drastic differences. The official USA gymnastic account recently shared pictures of how AI perceived gold-medal-winning gymnasts. In response, artificial intelligence took notes from general stats and fan opinions to produce some images. However, the Instagram post came with a warning to steer clear of the athletes’ hands.

Despite the cautionary statement, Gina Chiles went ahead and did what she was asked not to. “I zoomed in on the hands“, wrote Chiles along with a rather grumpy-looking emoji. While these images are faithful to the actual athletes, their hands are an eyesore and can come off as rather creepy.

Understandably, such atrocities are probably all the more moving for the Chiles family right now. The family is currently in mourning of Jordan’s late grandfather. However, considering the circumstances, Gina Chiles should be wary of random social media posts, especially if AI has anything to do with it!

Jordan Chiles focused on her career

Despite the loss of her grandfather, Jordan recently stated she wanted to focus on her dreams. The 2023 PanAm USA flag bearer said that she’s determined to win gold at the Paris Olympics. With her favorite cheerleader now gone, Chiles dreams of upholding her legacy by finishing what she started.

Days after the loss, Chiles was seen with the likes of Cher for Thanksgiving dinner and she looked stronger than ever. We hope her mother learns from her latest fumble and stands resolute behind Jordan Chiles so she can overcome her bereavement period as she will have to give her best in the 2024 Olympics.
