Simone Biles on her future at Paris Olympics

In an earlier interview, Biles mentioned that she would be present at the Paris Olympics but did not clear the fact as a participant or in some other role.?Talking about her future at the National Retail Federation convention, she confirmed,?“For Paris, as of now, I would say, I’ll be there regardless.”?However, she is not aware of how she will be there.

Adding more, Biles informs, “I just don’t know if it will be as an athlete or as an audience member, but if I do decide to train, obviously, I’d have to go 100 percent, so I probably wouldn’t hold back. I’d still try to give it my all.” However, this is?not the first time Biles has spoken about her Paris plans.

Prioritizing her mental health, she says,?“I’m still in therapy, and I’m still doing everything so that I can be the best version of myself.”?In previous interviews and on multiple occasions, she has dealt with the topic. She has always emphasized that she will attend the next Olympics in the French capital, but she is just taking time for herself now.

Biles on her future plans?

Sitting for a conversation at The Late Late Show With James Corden, Biles said, “I think, right now, I still have to heal mentally and physically.”?It’s not new for athletes to accompany the team for events. Many athletes prefer to travel with the team as their coach or mentor. If convenient, Biles, too, can help her team out with her guidance.
