Drawing attention to this, a Twitter user wrote, “If Simone makes a comeback for Paris, I wonder if she will identify as Simone Biles or Simone Owens?” Like Simone’s wedding date, whether or not she will participate in the Paris Olympics remains a mystery. 

Though Simone has revealed that she will be part of the event, however, she is yet to confirm her participation as a participant. Keeping in mind the recent chain of events and a possible shift of things, one for her fans makes a valid point. The fan writes that if Simone decides to make changes on paper, then “it is a paperwork nightmare that follows you your whole life.”

However, considering Simone keeps posting stuff on her social media handles like Instagram, where she addresses her as the “future Owens,” the possibility for her making the changes official remains very high.
