After the legendary gymnast Simone Biles withdrew her name from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, other members of the US gymnast team came forward. One of the gymnasts from the team was a 19-year-old, Suni Lee. In her maiden Olympics debut, Lee won three medals.

Gymnast Suni Lee once spoke about the impostor syndrome and anxiety she has experienced since participating in the Tokyo Olympics. Meanwhile, the American model, Gigi Hadid, has also claimed her heartfelt experience with this syndrome. 

According to Suni, the syndrome caused her self doubts about her performance. She told ESPN, “I feel like, after the Olympics, there’s just been so much doubt in like, ‘Oh, she shouldn’t have won Olympics, blah, blah, blah,’ and it really hits my soul. I think I just put in my head that I didn’t deserve to win.”
