Simone Biles had already proven herself to be an immense talent when she made her Gymnastics World Championships debut. From 2013 to 2015, Biles dominated the World Championships, and by the time she made her Olympic debut, Biles was already a star. However, at 25, the four-time Olympic gold winner realized that being an adult has its challenges. Her latest confession about adulting comes ahead of her upcoming wedding.

The seven-time Olympic medalist took to Twitter to express her adult life dilemma to her 1.7 million followers. However, Biles didn’t mention what motivated her to make the tweet.

Are late-night parties becoming too much to handle for Simone Biles?

In her tweet, the 25-year-old might have confessed that late or all-night parties are becoming tough to handle. She wrote, “officially all for day parties only.” While high-school kids might have no problem shaking off an all-nighter, at 25, Biles is probably struggling. One fan seemed to know what the Olympian meant. “This is how you know you’re getting old,” commented one fan.

Day parties or “darties,” according to one commenter, are parties for working adults who don’t like sacrificing their sleep. Ahead of her wedding with fiance Jonathan Owens, Biles has declared she “only” wanted to party during the day. Recently Biles has also posted about facing other challenges of adult life.

In December last year, the gymnastics legend informed her fans about her first long drive. While driving long distances might be a daily necessity for many, Biles found the three-hour solo drive daunting. “You need to be a big girl,” the gymnast reminded herself. In November 2022, Biles wrote another tweet about adulting. “At the age where all my friends answer their phone in 5-7 business days,” the Olympian had tweeted. However, despite these quirks, she had no trouble organizing the sixth edition of the Biles International Invitational. 

She can’t believe her big day is almost here

Adulting isn’t the only thing that’s a challenge for Biles. Ahead of the wedding, the Olympian is in her “feels”. Last month the seven-time Olympic medalist posted a story on Instagram stating she couldn’t believe she is about to tie the knot. “In my feels, @jowens can’t believe we get married this year.”, Biles wrote in her story.

However, neither the gymnast nor her fiance has disclosed their wedding date. Recently, the Presidential Medal of Freedom winner posted another story about their wedding bands. “next we see our wedding bands will be at the wedding,” said Biles.
