Days after Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens’s extravagant wedding in Mexico, the couple set off for an unexpected venture to Wisconsin. On May 12, the NFL player made headlines for signing a new safety contract with Green Bay Packers for the upcoming season in September.

Although his transfer from Houston Texans to Green Bay Packers shocked the NFL world, for some budding gymnasts, the information was pure joy. On May 19, news channel 2 First Alert News reported about the overjoyed Green Bay gymnasts who are willing to welcome the gymnastics queen into their city. In fact, they prepared a short video for her.

A clear glimpse of this enthusiasm was recently seen at Saga Sports, Suamico. Reporters of 2 First Alert News visited the gymnasium to catch the reaction of the budding gymnasts. A young gymnast named Grace Jensen expressed on the channel “I freaked out. I was like, I froze..my percentage went up to meet her.” The excitement to hopefully meet Simone Biles was evidently visible in her glittering eyes. Another student, Beier told, “She’s my role model. I just wanna be like her when I grow up.” 

Moreover, the channel reported that the students of the gymnasium took to social media to welcome the legendary gymnast. They created a video doing stunning gymnastics tricks saying, “Hey Simone”, and also congratulated Biles on getting married.

Like a supportive partner, Simone Biles accompanied her husband Jonathan Owens when he flew to Wisconsin to sign the contract with his new team on May 12. She shared a memorable glimpse of the day on her Instagram and celebrated her husband’s big career move, “So proud of you baby! Here’s to new beginnings! Year 6! LFG! “

However, recently, when Owens left for Wisconsin after their grand wedding celebrations, the gymnast wept inconsolably. She shared a sad image of her on her Instagram story and wrote, “bawled my eyes out this morning when Jonathan left for green bay.” Evidently, was hard for Mrs. Owens to bid Mr. Owens goodbye. 

As of now, Biles has not paid a surprise visit to her husband. Hopefully, when she does, she will surprise the budding gymnasts in Green Bay too.
