Haleigh Bryant had one of the most amazing seasons of her NCAA career this year. Competing for the LSU Tigers, Bryant and her team clinched the NCAA title in 2024. However, Bryant’s rise to fame came way before her LSU shenanigans. Displaying incredible talent, Bryant clinched the gold twice at the Nastia Liukin Cup. The two gold medals came in 2018 and 2020, respectively, in the all-around category.

Bryant also boasts of an NCAA gold in vault in 2021, before clinching two more this year. While her impressive show on the mats and the bars earned her team the ultimate prize, it also paved the way for several accolades coming in for Haleigh Bryant.

Haleigh Bryant’s unbelievable season becomes evident from the fact that she achieved a score no lower than 9.850. Her other lowest score was 9.875, barring which, Bryant scored a ridiculous 9.90+ every time she stepped up. Competing against Georgia, the LSU sensation recorded a balance beam perfect 10 to earn her maiden gym slam. Bryant became the first LSU and 14th NCAA athlete to score a perfect 10 in every discipline.

Thus, with such a stellar show, it is imperative that Haleigh Bryant would be getting recognized. And surely she was. In a recent announcement by the official X account of LSU Gymnastics, Haleigh Bryant was named the MVP of the season. The post read, “Kickin’ off this year’s award winners with our MVP. To no one’s surprise, this one goes to HB for the second year in a row 🐐”

To finish with the icing on the cake, Bryant also received the SEC Gymnast of the Year and AAI awards. Now, with everything won, there is practically nothing else for Haleigh Bryant to aim for in the NCAA. Such a notion made the LSU fans concerned. Luckily, she had good news for all of them.

Providing a huge relief for all her fans, Haleigh Bryant has decided to return to the LSU Tigers’ pack in 2025 as well. After spending four great seasons, she will be back for her fifth one too. In a recent announcement, Bryant stated, After talking with my family, my coaches and my teammates, it was just a really good opportunity… I don’t think I was really ready for it to end.”

Well, apart from Bryant, several big names like Kiya Johnson and Olivia Dunne are also highly expected to return. However, the confirmation is still missing and thus, nothing is guaranteed as of now.
