Though Kate Upton is one of the most beloved MLB WAGs in history, NCAA champion gymnast Olivia “Livvy” Dunne is joining her in the spotlight. Olivia is reportedly also set to be on the cover of SI magazine and is gearing up for the red-carpet event that will take place soon. Her recent revelation of a spoiler has caught attention, hinting at an exciting development she’s prepared to share with a fellow MLB WAG.  

In a recent Snapchat story, Olivia Dunne called herself, “Officially SI red carpet ready.” The red carpet tease came after a long series of snaps where she was seen documenting her process of getting her hair lengthened and dyed blonde at LUX salon in Baton Rouge. She captioned the posts, “Issa Hair Day,” and “Trust da process.” On the red carpet, Dunne is set to join supermodel Kate Upton as both SI swimwear model and an MLB WAG.

Olivia Dunne has officially joined the WAG squad after her boyfriend Paul Skene’s debut match as part of the Tigers against the Chicago Cubs. Now that her collegiate season is over, she is also set to come back on the cover of Sports Illustrated for the second consecutive year.

On the other hand, this year, we also saw Kate Upton return to grace the cover of SI magazine in a feminine pink-and-red two-piece swimsuit by Normaillot, marking her fourth front page feature and SI’s 60th cover. SI shared a heartfelt post on its Instagram calling Upton “One of the most iconic models in SI Swimsuit history.” The post also highlighted how Upton’s first cover in 2012 stirred a lot of controversies. Now, it seems that the two MLB partners have much more in common than the WAG title.

Previously, Olivia Dunne was on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 2023, where her feature was shot in Puerto Rico by photographer Ben Watts. She was also seen at the subsequent 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue red carpet event in Hard Rock Hotel, New York City, where she wore a black lace gown featuring a thigh-high slit, a sweetheart neckline, and a floral mesh that was just perfect for the event. 

She even posted a video with Olivia Ponton on Ponton’s Instagram where the two SI models are seen blowing a kiss to the camera. This video became instantly viral as everyone gushed about Dunne’s charm. Around the time of her 2023 SI cover, she was named the ‘World’s sexiest gymnast.’ Though Kate Upton was not present at the party, Olivia Dunne was joined by athlete Angel Reese to represent LSU who recently won their first-ever NCAA championship in gymnastics at the event.

However, Kate Upton was present at the launch party after her 2024 cover. She was seen along with other “SI Swimsuit legends” who gathered at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for a photo shoot celebrating the 60th anniversary of the magazine. Upton wore a floor-length Maria Lucia Hohan dress, Giuseppe Zanotti heels, and accessories by Charlie Lapson and looked just appropriate for the glamorous party. Celebrating Upton’s milestone, Dunne shared the photo in her story and labeled Upton an “Icon.” Clearly, Dunne is taking notes from WAG veteran Upton as she steps into the role herself.
