Cheers erupted in the NOW arena when Simone Biles entered the field, and performed her magic on the beam, all while donning her GK Elite leotard. Interestingly, along with Biles, Sunisa Lee also marked her return to elite gymnastics after taking a break from the sport due to her kidney-related health issues.

Following this, the LSU star gymnast, Olivia Dunne, posted an update on her social media with a special message for the gymnastics world.

Olivia Dunne’s message

Days after Simone Biles dominated all headlines of the tabloids, budding gymnast and TikTok star Olivia Dunne posted an update for her fans. Taking to her TikTok, Dunne posted a video of her practicing a few routines while she prepares for the upcoming pre-season. Her range of impressive maneuvers was accompanied by a bold and repetitive message of “I will survive pre-szn”,?hinting at her commitment towards the upcoming LSU gymnastics season.

Highlighting the immense work and sacrifices it takes to get ready for a new season, the gymnast captioned the video, “pre-szn conditioning is no joke.”?As far as her LSU gymnastics career goes, in her freshman season against Alabama, she clocked a career-high score of 9.925 on the bars. Dunne’s best performance in the uneven bars came in 2021 when she was the fifth-best gymnast in the discipline with a score of 9.90. The year 2022 saw Dunne recording a score of 9.90 on the floor exercise discipline against Alabama. Dunne’s TikTok comes during a time when Simone Biles has successfully returned to elite gymnastics with a dominant display at the U.S. Classic.

Simone Biles’ domination at the U.S. Classic

After the gymnastics world had been yearning for Simone Biles’ return, the Olympian returned to action with a resounding win in the all-round discipline. Biles displayed to the world why she is one of the greatest gymnasts with her score of 59.100, which was an astounding 5 points more than the runner-up Leann Wong. Competing after a break of 732 days, Biles not only showed her dominance, she also booked a place in the upcoming U.S. Championships. She competed in four events during this year’s U.S. Classic and posted the top scores in three of those disciplines while coming third in the uneven bars event with a score of 14.000.
