Juggling between her Elite and NCAA Gymnastics career, Leanne Wong is currently focused on her 2024 NCAA championships. While the American artistic gymnast follows an amazing strategic plan of reflecting and re-learning the strengths and weaknesses of herself and her team ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, she overpowers the Florida Gators on their way to being triumphant shortly.

Not only the World Champion has earned her name through her junior – journey, but also realizes how the freshmen athletes look up to her. Despite her being an ideal for many of her fellow gymnasts, she lately has been receiving huge support from the 22-year-old silver medalist in the individual all-around, Trinity Thomas as well.

The star Elite cum NCAA gymnast this season, Leanne Wong is not only buckled up because of her past achievements in the sport but also because of the wonderful support she has got from her fellow gymnast, Trinity Thomas. A 4x NCAA National Team Member herself, Trinity Thomas has been in the headlines for her perfect 10s in last year’s final session. While both Wong and Thomas, as the dynamic duo share a close-knit bond, their association grew closer this year, when Trinity Thomas was declared Leanne Wong’s coach and training partner.

Consequently, Leanne Wong also received appreciation from Trinity Thomas, which in turn has immensely boosted the morale of the athlete. “Leanne is one of the best gymnasts I’ve ever seen. And we push each other in the gym,” Trinity Thomas told ESPN. “We have different strengths, and different weaknesses, and help each other as teammates, but we also kind of coach each other as well. I feel like we’re a very cool dynamic duo.”

Targeting for a better score every week, the Florida Gators headed by Trinity Thomas has indigeneously provided for this year’s  SEC title and has been ranked fourth during the NCAA competition. Thus Leanne Wong who has been currently pursuing the NCAA, will return to Elite gymnastics once again, aiming to grace decently well in the upcoming Summer Olympics.

Aim to get to her highest potential

As the Paris Olympics are nearing, Leanne Wong has been setting her sights on securing her Olympic berth for this season. As much as she is motivated by her fellow athletes whom she deeply respects, she also aims to put off her potential into the sport. Her present competitors, are the highly decorated Olympic all-around champions, Simone Biles, Sunisa Lee and Gabby Douglas, who all are aiming for the same gold medal in the upcoming Summer Games. “There’s so much depth in the U.S., it’s going to come down to who is ready at that moment and who’s in the best shape”, Leanne Wong stated to ESPN ahead of the Paris games.
