“24 Hour Warning”: Simone Biles Backs Fiance Jonathan Owens and His Team Ahead of NFL Game

A decorated gymnast and Olympic sensation, Simone Biles, is fairly regular at sharing all her victories and announcements with her fans via social media. As such, the gymnastics G.O.A.T. Biles recently posted about one such announcement for her soon-to-be husband.

Jonathan Owens plays for Biles’ home team, Houston Texans. The 25-year-old gymnastics GOAT recently took over social media to post about Owens’ upcoming match.

Simone Biles announces Owens’ warning

In an Instagram story, Biles showed love for Owens by cheering for his upcoming match with Cleveland Browns. The official account of Houston Texans initially posted the picture. Biles put up the story sporting four red hearts.

The Instagram post by Houston Texans said, “24 hour warning” and the image displayed, “Almost Gameday.” The post is a series of three pictures, with the first showing Jonathan Owens in his uniform and helmet.  The other two pictures star Nico Collins, Tremon Smith, Desmond E King II, and Tavierre Thomas. In the comments, fans showed high hopes of the Houston Texans winning the game against Cleveland Browns.

This was not the first time Simone Biles took over social media for supporting Jonathan Owens and her home team. Recently, Biles used her 6.7 million followers to raise votes for Jonathan’s pro bowl elections.

Although Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens hail from different sports, they share much in common as athletes. They witness the hardships each of them goes through behind the curtains and never fail to provide support. On numerous occasions, Owens and Biles have proved to be each other’s pillars of strength. 

In an interview, Jonathan Owens once said, “She supports me, and you know pushes me.” He also claimed Biles corrected him wherever he was wrong and never failed to do the needful. Similarly, Biles leaned on Owens during the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. Biles had to withdraw from the Olympics due to mental health issues and faced backlash from the public. This is when Owens came to her rescue and supported her burnout-break.
