When Owens had to leave to start his new venture with the Green Bay Packers ahead of the NFL 2023 season, Biles couldn’t bear the separation. This weekend, however, she will have her spirits up.

Simone Biles recently wrote on her Instagram story, “Home for the weekend. My heart is so full”, referring to her husband Owens who has returned from the Green Bay Packers camp to spend time with his wife and family. The picture she attached is an adorable one, where Biles is making a cute face with Owens leaning on her.

They both look truly loved up. It hasn’t been a month yet since the two got married in an extravagant ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The wedding that was months in planning was finally a breathtaking one, and after it was over, the couple was ready to spend every moment together. However, a major change in Owens’s career happened this month which changed circumstances for them.

A week after their wedding, Jonathan Owens moved from Houston Texans to Green Bay Packers. This marked a change in Owens’s NFL career that ensured that he moved from Houston to the verdant city in Wisconsin, near Lake Michigan.

A major shift in Owens’s career

Jonathan Owens started his career with the Arizona Cardinals in 2018. But after spending a year with the Phoenix-based team, Owens moved to the Houston Texans in 2019. He extended this association further in early 2020 and lasted for another 3 years. After 4 years of football there, it finally came to an end recently. Having to leave to girdle up with his new team soon after their wedding, Biles was overwhelmed with the separation. She notably teared up as she bid him goodbye. While the separation, brief as it was going to be, was hard on the gymnastics legend, she was still extremely proud of her hubby.

Jonathan Owens entered his 6th year in NFL, and he is about to start this new season with his 3rd team ever. While all eyes will be on him with the NFL season starting in a few months, Biles too intends to return to the gymnastics arena as the Paris Olympics nears. She will look to add a few more to her already existing tally of 7 Olympic medals.
