Ever since February last year, when gymnastics legend Simone Biles and NFL star Jonathan Owens got engaged, the couple is having the time of their life. A year into their engagement, they made their wedding official at a Texas Courthouse. But the shindig was far from over. Now, off to their second wedding in front of their friends and family, Biles, Owens, and their friends were also in Mexico for a party. They had an unbelievable time there.

Simone Biles is lifting the curtains of secrecy on her second wedding even hours before the event is scheduled. They had a great time at their welcome party with every loved one present.

7x Olympic medalist Simone Biles recently wrote on her Instagram story, “Our welcome party being on Cinco de Drinko in Mexico was the best thing to accidentally happen”. Cinco de Drinko is a foreign holiday for those in their teens or 20s to drink alcohol, mainly Cuervo or Corona, during daytime hours. It is a play on the famous Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo, which is Spanish for the 5th of May.

Owens, 27, and Biles, 26, who are in the prime of their lives and careers, are also in love with each other. Therefore, it was a brainer for them to enjoy the time of their lives at Cinco de Drinko in Mexico. Everyone including the couple flew off to Baja, California, for their destination wedding.

In there, all the bridesmaids and groomsmen also wore some cool and chic outfits for the power couple’s wedding. While the men were wearing all-white outfits, the bridesmaids wore T-shirts with ‘Cinco de Drinko’ written over them. But that wasn’t the only T-shirt that took the limelight.

Simone Biles’s father has a stern warning for her husband

Simone Biles’s father, Ronald Biles stole the attention with a T-shirt that expressed his love for his daughter. However, it also served as a cheeky and subtle four-word reminder to Biles’s husband Jonathan Owens before their wedding. While the front of the T-shirt read, “Father of the bride” and the date “5.6.2023” written on it, the back of the T-shirt read, “I loved her first” with the birth date of Biles “3.14.1997” on it.

It was both cute, adorable, and yet slightly possessive of Ronald Biles to print this message on his daughter’s wedding date. As every minute passes, Biles’s social media posts keep getting flooded with updates regarding her wedding day. Her excitement for her wedding to Jonathan Owens is infectious.
