With 25 gold medals in the World Championships, she is the most successful gymnast in the history of the sport. She has a massive fan following on Instagram and keeps sharing updates of her life with her fans on her social media handles.

Simone took the internet by storm when she announced her engagement to NFL player, Jonathan Owens. The engagement news came as a surprise to her fans. They have been open about their relationship and made it Instagram official in August 2020.

Simone Biles motivates her fiancé

Simone would share pictures with Jonathan very often during their courtship. The couple has always been supportive of each other. Both of them are professional athletes so they understand each other’s mindsets. Despite their busy schedules, they make time for each other. Owens was impressed by Simone’s work ethic when they first met.

Despite playing different sports, they can count on each other for support as they are both trying to become better athletes. Owens told the people’s magazine how they constantly motivate each other to push their limits. “She’ll be telling me, ‘Don’t be a baby, you’re all right.’ We’re both super competitive,” he said, describing how Biles gave him a harsh reality check to keep him pumped up about his career. Biles’ work ethic inspires Jonathan and motivates him to work harder.

Biles also revealed how Jonathan motivates her to pursue her dream. “Even if I wake up in the morning and I’m like, ‘I’m tired, do I have to go, he’s like ‘Don’t say that! You can do it, this is your dream!” shared Biles. Jonathan is always supportive of her goals and very encourages her to push the limit.

Is a wedding date about to be announced?

After the announcement of their engagement, fans have been very curious about Simone and Owens’ wedding. Soon after their engagement, Simone updated her Instagram bio tagging Jonathan as her fiancé. Simone, during a Q&A session on Instagram, revealed that they were building a new house which would be their marital home. The couple announced that their wedding would take place in 2023. However, the preparations for the dreamy wedding have already begun.

Simone revealed that she has already hired a wedding planner. The wedding would take place on a beach with a complete floral decoration and they keep posting major updates regarding the wedding on their social media handles. Regardless, the curiosity of fans holds no bounds. As of now the official date of their wedding has not been announced.
